Right of Withdrawal

1. The Following Right of Withdrawal Applies to Consumers

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the final item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unambiguous statement, for example by a letter sent by post, telephone, or email. You may download and use the model withdrawal form here.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

1.1 Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs—except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us—without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract.

We will issue the reimbursement using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. Under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

You must return or hand over the goods without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract, to:

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functionality of the goods.

1.3 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts:

Contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for which an individual choice or specification by the consumer is decisive for their production, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal requirements (including coffee ground at the customer’s request); contracts for the supply of goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; and contracts for the supply of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons if their seal has been removed after delivery.

1.4 Processing the Withdrawal and Return Shipping Costs

1.4.1

To facilitate the processing of a withdrawal in accordance with Section 1 above, the buyer is requested, where possible, to provide the following information with the withdrawal statement:

a) The customer’s name

b) The order date

c) The products they wish to return

1.4.2

Providing the information listed above is not a requirement for processing the buyer’s withdrawal.

1.4.3

The buyer bears the cost of returning the goods. Rösterei VIER does not provide a return shipping label.
